Dubai Holidays
Dubai is one of the seven Emirates that form the United Arab Emirates. It began its rapid development in the early 1960s when oil was discovered. Over the past few years Dubai became the financial and touristic center of the Middle East.
For every tourist participating in a Dubai vacation is a dream come true. There are various things to see and do in Dubai. In this Dubai travel guide we will mention some of the most important facts we have to keep in mind when visiting the United Arab Emirates.
For Dubai holidays, the first step is reserving a hotel and an airplane ticket if we travel by air. We must be aware the price range may vary in both cases. Dubai is one of the most expensive touristic destinations in the world so the prices are accordingly very high. The price of the trip can also vary, so we have to be careful when choosing an air-company. Different companies can have different prices for exotic destinations like Dubai.
In Dubai there are more than 400 hotels, so we have plenty possibilities to choose from. The hotels can be two star hotels which have the lowest prices or up to the highest prices like the Burj Al-Arab, the only seven star hotel in the world. There are also over 350 restaurants and clubs so the night life activities are guaranteed.
During the daytime there are also a lot of available activities. The favorite pass time of the tourists is enjoying the beautiful beaches and swimming in the clear ocean-water. There is more than enough thing to do on the beach but we have to be careful not to get a sunburn. This region of the Middle East is in the very hot weather area and the temperatures can be extremely high during the summer periods. Accordingly to the high temperatures the UV rays can easily cause sunburns.
The top priority for most people during a Dubai travel is to see the magnificent architecture of the modern Dubai. The most famous buildings to see are :
-Â Burj Al-Arab, unique hotel with seven stars in the shape of a sailboat sail. It is located on a small island and only the people who have a reservation can go in and see the king of luxury hotels.
-Â Burj Dubai, the tower of Dubai, the future tallest building of the world, currently under construction.
- Ski Dubai – the world largest indoor ski resort.
- Palm Island – the world largest artificial island and many more.
Of course, we can go sightseeing in the older part of Dubai too, this is where we can see the historical buildings of the older part of the town.
If you decide to visit Dubai and participate in a true Dubai vacation you will not regret it. The fact that Dubai is the center of luxury tourism means that only the wealthy tourists can enjoy the real Dubai holidays.
