Lucas Glover won the US Open PGA Tour Golf 2009, the second Grand Slam tournament of the season, the 109th edition of which ended on Monday at Farmingdale (New York).

Glover, aged 29 and from the qualifications, there was only one victory on the circuit, that of 2005, before the 109th U.S. Open, finished Monday because of weather conditions in early tournament.

American Lucas Glover, who had not won any PGA tournament since 2005, won in 29 years the U.S. Open, the second Grand Slam tournament of the season, the 109th edition of which ended Monday at Farmingdale , in New York. He imposed a total of 276 is two shots ahead of his compatriots Phil Mickelson, David Duval and Ricky Barnes. The world Number one, American Tiger Woods has finished in 6th place with 4 shots.
