Satellite TV for PC

Satellite TV is now extremely popular and it got me thinking why not look into it further and give it a try? If I could cut out my monthly expenses for the current satellite TV I have and still watch the same channels for just a one off fee, then I must be onto a winner. I therefore went in search for the best I could possibly find as I do like to spend some time watching TV.

I must confess that it was not such an easy task as I first thought. There are so many companies out there offering similar products and to tell you the truth most of them are a complete waste of money as the quality is absolutely terrible and the customer service even worse. Some of the ones I bought from were poor all round but eventually did give me my money back, one just disappeared overnight losing me all my money and two just gave me such a hard time trying to install the software that I gave up in the end.

I did become deflated by the whole experience but seeing as I was really keen on the idea of watching TV on my PC I didn’t give up and thankfully not as I finally found what I think to be the best out there – ‘Satellite TV for PC’. The 2009 Elite edition is the one I recommend and I have been using it for 2 months now and find it is by far the best on the market today. It doesn’t matter if you are not computer savvy at all as they have the easiest installation platform around. Elite makes the whole process extremely smooth unlike others that makes the simple process of downloading utterly confusing.

Satellite TV for PC 2009 Elite delivers hundreds of live and thousands of recorded premium, HDTV and also on demand channels. You will be able to have for free TV, radio, Music and VOD on your PC instantly. Elite also offers in the package free HBO, BBC, CBS, FOX, ESPN, Discovery and many others around the globe. Elite offers a variety of entertainment and information just by the click of a button.

There are lots of channels in foreign languages such as Arabic, Chinese, French, Spanish, Portuguese and others so when they say 3,000 channels lots of them you can’t really watch because they are from other countries. However, there are lots of English TV channels, from the US, Australia, UK, Canada, Singapore, etc.

Some of the ones I tested advertise more than 6,000 channels but had as little as 50 channels in English. So although ‘Satellite TV for PC’ offers 3,000 channels, less than some other providers they are the one which has more English language channels available and this was absolutely crucial in my decision.

So in conclusion, was it worth the 49 bucks? Well, it does let me watch all my favorite programs on my PC that I used to watch with satellite TV, it was very easy to install and I am getting very good value for my money. So I’ll say it was definitely worth it. However, the downside is I now have way more competition for my PC at home! But that’s another story…
